A distinguished Public Administrator, Teacher and Consultant, Bayo Arowolaju obtained BSc (Sociology) from the University of Lagos,Nigeria in 1978; Master's Degree (Interdisciplinary) from the University of Liverpool, UK in conjunction with Trinity College, Newburg, Indiana, USA in 2001; and Ph.D ( Counselling) at Newburg College, Indiana, USA in 2003. In 2008 , Dr. Arowolaju obtained a Certificate in International Procurement from the International Law Institute (ILI) Georgetown University,Washington DC, USA on the Scholarship of the World Bank. |
He is a procurement specialist and the Managing Consultant of Procureconsult Nigeria Limited. He is also currently pursuing another Master's Degree at the University of Liverpool, UK, in Operations and Supply Chain Management. |

A seasoned Administrator, Dr. Arowolaju was a member of the Executive Council of Ekiti State Government of Nigeria, between 2007 and 2010, first as a Special Adviser to the Governor on Due Process and later as the Director General of Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement, where he installed a world class procurement system. Before then, he had worked as a Licensed Child Welfare Specialist with Contracting Agencies of the Illinois Department of State Children and Family Services (DCFS), Chicago, IL (1998-2007). Lecturer, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel (1994-1996); Vice- Principal, Ondo State Teaching Service Board (1991-1994) and Lecturer and President Senior Staff Association, Ondo State College of Arts and Science, Ikare, Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria (1980-1990). |
A devoted Christian and preacher, Dr Arowolaju is happily married with successful children. |
